Panasonic's 13MP Lumix Phone Looks Like a Crappy Sony Ericsson, Disappointingly
According to a press release from Panasonic Japan, the electronics giant plans to launch a line of camera phones under the Lumix Phone brand at the CEATAC Japan trade show this week. Limited product specs from the press release include:
- 13.2-megapixel CMOS sensor
- 3.3-inch VGA LCD touchscreen (wide aspect)
- Mobile Venus Engine processor
- WiFi and DLNA support
- MicroSD/Micro SDHC slot
- 116 x 52 x 17.7mm, 146g
No word on whether the phone will be available outside of Japan, but keep an eye out at the Lumix Phone site for more details (and photos) this week.
